I would like to keep the MCU free from Sonymination. So I'd prefer if they didnt.

Morbius — the Jared Leto-starrer superhero movie part of Sony's Marvel universe — has been delayed once again. With COVID-19 continuing to cast a long shadow over theatres, Sony Pictures has decided to push Morbius from March 19 to October 8. It was originally scheduled to release on July 31, 2020.

Yeah so has James Bond

Do we want him to crossover with Blade in the MCU? If Sony isn’t working with Marvel to craft Morbius, and they aren’t, I’d like them to quietly sit in the corner and play with their toys.

The Marvel fandom to be clear. I dont like where they are going. Seems excessive though, innit? Im invested because of one particular aspect of the MCU. From what I see that will be destroyed or at least contaminated by NWH and MoM. Hence I will lose my interest in the franchise. Its ok. I will always have the Infinity Saga. Its a bit like with Middle Earth. LotR will alway be there. The Hobbit trilogy doesnt take away from that.

This now makes the second vampire movie I'll associate with The Doors' 'People Are Strange' (the first being The Lost Boys).

So where does this one stand now? After No Way Home, I’d say they confirmed all the Sony projects will just be doing their own thing for the most part. Do we think this plays into the MCU in any way? And I don’t mean in just a generic “everything is canon now” sort of way.

And I don’t mean in just a generic “everything is canon now” sort of way. Michael Keaton’s Vulture is in the movie. How that factors in, I’m not sure.
