Hell, I think I would've even preferred this (even though I'd miss the red skirt)... But so I'm not just all 'Mr. Negativity', it's been pointed out elsewhere the version of Supergirl that Sasha Calle is playing may be the offspring of Clark and Lois (and not Kara Zor-El/Superman's cousin like originally thought). injustice.fandom.com/wiki/Lara_Lane-KentIf that's^ the case, then I guess I'm willing to wait and see how it turns out.

I really don't get this excessive texturing trend in reimagining classic superhero costumes. Who wants to wear a textile factory on their chest? I agree to a certain extent. It seems like they think that if a costume such as Superman's/Supergirl's looks too 'smooth' and doesn't have added texturing, it'll just look like tights/a leotard/appear 'goofy' or whatever. By the same token, I can understand that they want it to look more like a form of 'armour' in a way...but, really, super-beings like Kal-El and Kara have no need for armour anyway. All I know is I blame Cavill's Superman for being so anti-yellow with his costume and I hope they at least give this new movie version of Supergirl a yellow belt to split up the red and blue. The simplicity of Helen Slater's costume from the original Supergirl movie still remains my favourite version. There's got to be a way to revitalize the more simplistic costume textures without making it look like the hero is a WWF/E wrestler. I didn't really mind this look at all, but I never understood why they repeated the "S" in his belt. Had Routh been a little bulkier the look would have been more convincing.

Yeah, I don't know what's going on with the stomach area of the suit Sasha Calle is wearing, but it makes it appear as though Kryptonians have weird ribs/stomach abs. I had no real problems with Brandon Routh's Superman costume (I vastly prefer it to Cavill's, at least) other than the El family crest on his chest being a bit on the small side and I didn't much care for the neckline (which made it look like a T-shirt). Someone must've touched up a picture of the original costume in that^ photo, as this is what it looked like before... The 'S' on the belt doesn't really bother me (and at least they weren't afraid on the colour yellow back then).

Singer thought the BIG FLAT S looked too "70's" which is why they went smaller and 3D he also wanted the color BLUE to "pop" which is why they muted the red and yellow and as you mentioned no low cut neckline you'd be interested to know that BR was in fact super bulked up after 6 months of weightlifting, but they found that the scuba like costume actually smoothed his muscles out and "hid" them oh and if the s belt bugs you, go find a close up photo of the chest S, it is made up of hundreds of tiny little s's lol

Wish that could have been a surprise, but that's still kind of cool.

Now this is a multiverse movie that I’m wary about. I will FANBOY OUT at seeing Keaton on screen again… almost as much as I will FANBOY OUT at seeing MacGuire. But this move does indeed seem random and lazy. I hope I’m wrong though. I want to get on board with this.

From the cinematographer:
“[The Flash is] going great. I mean, it's a complex movie, and it's a fantastic concept of bringing in the generations of these kind of comic books. Again, it's not really a comic book movie. It's not based in reality, but it’s a much more kind of technically complex — I think all the filmmakers are really keen that the technical complexity of the storytelling doesn't get in the way of just good quality filmmaking. Hopefully, I don't think it'll ever come across as a superhero movie. It will come across as a movie, and that's what it is. I think that's the way these things need to go. We need to be making great, great, great films that happen to have superheroes who have truthful characters behind them, with all the character flaws that we find in humanity.”

I wish I could care more about this. I wish they had just done a standalone Flash intro and a Batman movie starring Keaton. This seems like a half assed mash up of both.

So it looks like General Zod and Faora will be appearing too.

So it looks like General Zod and Faora will be appearing too. More of Antje Traue's Faora from MoS? That's the best piece of news I've heard regarding the DCEU so far this year.

Joking aside, I am a bit surprised that we never got a live-action Flash movie before this one. Even if it was a half-assed effort starring oh I don’t know, Sean William Scott or Ashton Kutcher around 2003,2004.

Maybe The Flash will receive a slap from Deadshot (since Will Smith's said he wants to return to the role)?

There's more. Yikes: A couple who recently stayed at a Hawaii hostel that also hosted Ezra Miller have filed a for a temporary restraining order, alleging the “Justice League” star threatened and harassed them not long after stirring up trouble at a nearby karaoke bar. The order was filed on Tuesday in the Third Circuit District Court. According to court documents obtained by People, the 29-year-old actor, well-known for their super portrayal of DC Comics hero, the Flash, “burst into the bedroom of the petitioner(s) and threatened” the alleged male victim Monday night, “saying ‘I will bury you and your slso wife.’” The couple further alleged Miller stole some personal items from them, including a Social Security card, wallet, passport, driver’s license and bank cards. The actor was ultimately escorted by officers from the hostel premises, marking their second interaction with law enforcement Monday night. www.nydailynews.com/news/crime/ny-hawaii-couple-restraining-order-ezra-miller-karaoke-20220330-z2czswxzmfbitdqq6q5kvzit5y-story.html

The only way to lift it is a complete reboot! They were discussing this on the John Campea show;pretty somber video. It was suggested that they recast Barry Allen and reshoot the movie entirely (like how they did that Ridley Scott movie).

So, if The Flash reboots the DCEU...will he reboot himself out of it too?
