Take any report with a grain of salt but stranger things have happened. What's of note is that, the snydercut itself may be modified

Honestly if there's anyone I'm happy for in regards to this actually being released, it's Zack Snyder.
He gets complete his film.

Well I actually dont care about it. I dont think it will improve the film. Snyder is great with visuals but not a good story teller. But good for the fans it gets released. Than at least they can have peace.

I would sign up to HBO max just to see it. The Whedon cut is terrible and the only way is up. After rewtaching BvS twice since its initial release, I've come to like the film more but then Josstice League happened which turned DCs characters into Marvel-lite which was cringe. So here's hoping the Snyder cut retains the serious atmosphere of BvS and doesn't have Flash as bumbling act or Batman with silly one liners and does give Cyborg a complete arc.

I’m legit wondering about the business aspect of this. I’m not sure they can recoup $20mil in subscriptions on this. It’s so specific to one specific fan base, and how many of them will just log into somebody’s account they know instead of paying for a subscription because are only interested in that one movie. It’s also not going to redeem what happened to DC. I’m going to use my parents account to watch it out of pure curiosity, but this still seems like a bizarre pandering move IMO.

The fact they need another 30-40 million to finish it including reshoots (!) shows that the cut that was talked about was not finished despite that fandom claiming otherwise. I liked Justice League btw. Im not to keen on seeing what Snyder will do with it. But in the end he deserves to have his film made. Lets just hope it doesnt dissapoint.

I find it particularly hilarious that the snydercult insisted it was complete. They swore up and down about it. WHOOOOPS. I have no idea how they think they’re making 30-40 million off of this. No way there’s that many people going to subscribe. Half the people who want to watch it will just watch it on somebody else’s account because they don’t actually want HBO Max. Personally speaking, I’m not hoping it doesn’t disappoint, because I don’t give a shit about it, but everybody here already knows that. I’d actually get more enjoyment if it’s complete shit, but if it’s good that’s fine, I genuinely hope everybody enjoys. I just wonder what HBO will be thinking when they realize they didn’t get anything out of it. As far as I can see, this just adds to the legacy that DC Cinema is an ongoing disorganized clusterfuck, and it’s going to completely overshadow anything else they’re doing next year. I just don’t see the upside here, but again, I hope the fans enjoy getting what they asked for.

Oh I’ve seen a lot of people claim it was complete. I’ve held quite a number of discussions where I stated the level of completion to be almost exactly what is being reported now, and I would get insistence that it could be delivered tomorrow, that Zach himself and those who had seen it had all confirmed it was virtually ready to go. They would go into detail about the timeline to back up that everything had been filmed and enhanced.

Past tense? I'm always going to mock this movement. Why? It worked. Because it's stupid. It's living in the past, and it doesn't accomplish anything. All this is doing is wasting resources that could be used on something actually worthwhile. All this has done is ensured an endless line of "Release the [X] Cut" movements from now until eternity each and every time a film doesn't work out the way people wanted, and it was annoying enough once. And seriously, Snyder does not deserve to have this happen. Neither do his fans.

Yeah Im pretty sure I mocked it too at one point lol. I still maintain my stance that it sets a bad precedent. I want to see the Leto cut of Suicide Squad. Shiiit it's already happened and started by me. I blame Snyder, Warner and the snydercut fans for this action as I wouldve obviously never have taken if it werent for this.
What about snydercut of BvS? When do we want it? Yesterday Warner!!
Warner releases statement: "Martha is still in the Snyder cut and was his idea in the first place, that little gem had no involvement from us, the executives."

"Public demand a do-over of all of Snyder's films." Publicist regrets not changing the word do-over to snydercut I don't think WB realizes what a wave of fandom entitlement and harassment they've unleashed not just on all of Hollywood, but on the entire entertainment industry, the world over. We're going to see dozens of these happening all at once in the near future. Heaven forbid this come to the MCU.

Holy shit! Everyone who mocked this campaign should be ashamed. no shame here. It indeed worked, but it’s still silly. A years long protest for a divisive series that pretends to be about honoring a director’s vision, but is really about desperately wishing the DCEU wasn’t the disaster it’s been.

This idea that a director who lost the studio hundreds of millions by producing divisive films, then somehow deserves to complete his vision, is pretty much ridiculous. I’m happy for those who want this and I hope they enjoy it, but whether it worked or not, this is one the silliest things I’ve ever seen.
