Does it really work in the digital age? It made sense in the 80s because stunts were becoming more dangerous and common place--but these days it is all digital.
PS Gosling is weird looking.
I never really noticed him but looking at his picture--he has close-set eyes and looks kind of goofy.

Granted, it’s based off fifteen reviews so far.

Granted, it’s based off fifteen reviews so far. I’m guess this is a tongue-in-cheek rendition.

This movie bares little resemblence to the original TV series and I'm getting tired of Hollywood sponging off of old IP name recognition. However, at least in this case, they made a pretty good movie. The plot is a pretty standard action movie plot and is serviceable. The main point of this movie is to be a showcase for stunt work and in that way the movie excels. The stunts are often spectacular. The movie also serves as a mild satire of fandom, actors, and the movie business itself and it does that in a fairly entertaining way.
